mv. "Blue Sea" delivered to her new owner, Tristar Shipping BV
BARKMEIJER SHIPYARDS has delivered the 4519 Dwt-coaster "Blue Sea" to her new owner, TRISTAR SHIPPING BV based in Kollumerzwaag, The Netherlands on Thursday, July 3rd 2008. After the succesfull seatrial on the 3rd of July the vessel has been delivered that same day in Harlingen. Home port of the "Blue Sea" is Lemmer, The Netherlands. The vessel has already a charter by a Spanisch Charterer.

The m.v. “Blue Sea” is the fifteenth in this successful series of 4,500 DWT general cargo vessels built by Barkmeijer Shipyards.

The “Blue Sea” will be propelled by a MAK engine, type 6M25 running on gas oil, driving a controllable pitch propeller of 3000 mm. via a reduction gearbox. The hold is box shaped and equipped with two movable bulkheads.
